Thanksgiving

It was a nice and thankful Thanksgiving Day for all. We had our Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday, because Carolyn and Clancy both had to work on Thanksgiving Day. We had a wonderful family get together and the food was very good also. We all ate until we thought we would bust. Thanksgiving Day Susie and Jeremy and kids went to Salt Lake to have a second dinner with Jeremys family. Jeanie cooked a dinner and I got off work so I could go over and have dinner with them. Jeri and Teresa went to Michaels house for there second dinner. So I can say we are all thankful for very full stomace. It's always wonderful to spend time with family

I Love this Time of Year!

My favorite time of year. We just had Halloween and it was a fun time, first we did a potluck and trunk or treat and then we had our family, yearly MONSTER DINNER. It was a lot of fun and good food. Now it's time to start thinking about Thanksgiving dinner. I always enjoy watching the Food Network and see all the new recipes they do for this holiday. Christmas is just around the corner and I've already started getting my shopping done, things are tight this year so I'm trying to make a few things I think my family will enjoy. On top of all of this we are surounded with Birthdays, Clancy 12/22, Susie 12/26, my sister Susie 12/30, my grandson Mitchel 12/31 and last but not least my daughter-in-law Jeanie 1/4. So I guess I'll be busy for a few weeks, but I love it.

What a great summer I had. Lots of camping, fishing and baseball. No long trips because of gas prices but we had a lot of fun in Beaver, Utah with family. We went twice with Mitchel and then the last trip Jeri and Teresa and the Sewells were there. It was a lot of fun by all. We fished a lot and of course we ate good. Nathan had a lot of fun fishing for the first time and Susie caught two fish too. Our camper is home now and were giving it a good cleaning so will be ready for the next time. Hope it's soon. So right now the Dodger's are in first place only a few more games. I hope they make it to the post season. I love post season. I try and watch all the games and it would be even better if my Dodgers are in it. I've also been watching Jacob and Ethan playing fall ball. Sometimes those games are just as good if not better than major league baseball. So GO DODGERS!

Camping and Fishing in Beaver, UT

Mitchel, Clancy and myself went for six days and night to the mountains above Beaver, UT. camped out and went fishing. The fishing was great, the weather and the scenery was beautiful. We had a lot of good food to eat. Metro had a great time he really loved the out doors. Every meal he had to set between Mitchel and me hoping to get a bite of something good. Which he did. The days were about 80 and the nights were a cool 47 to 52. It was great sleeping and we had a fire every night we sat around and had good conversation. We enjoyed spending time with Mitchel. He is a great teenager. We will be going back some time in July and August we have a big camp out planned with family members, looking forward to that. Good Fishing Mitchel hope you had fun.

JACOB IS A ALL STAR

Without a doubt Jacob loves the game of baseball. When he goes out to play he gives it his all. He's such a good sport win or lose. He is now playing on the All Star team for Cheyenne Little League. Last night Cheyenne was leading 6-3 going into the 4th inning, when Lone Mountain scored 3 runs to tie the score at 6-6. Cheyenne quickley answered in the bottom of the 4th inning with a three run home run by Jacob Radmanovich. putting Cheyenne ahead 9-6. They went on to win 13-7. Tonight they lost but Jacob went 4 for 4 and made a great double play. Good LUCK tomorrow night, I hope you WIN! WIN! WIN! Jacob your a star.

Father's Day

We had a wonderful day for our fathers. We got together for a BBQ and swim at mine and Clancy's house. Jeri was more than happy to do the grilling and what a good job she did. We also had a crock pot full of scalloped potatoes, mac and cheese and baked beans along with potato salad, green salad and garlic bread. With snicker doodle for desert. The guys all enjoyed a cool swim while having a baseball game on one tv and a basketball game on the other. We finished the evening with a fun game of Imaginiff. (new game very fun.) Hope all you dads enjoyed the day as much as we did putting it on for you.

Great Time

My sister came from Houston, Texas to spend my birthday with me. We had a great time. The two of us went to Knotts Berry Farm and had a very nice day. We finished our day with a great Fried Chicken Dinner. The next two days were spent at Disneyland and we rode all the rides and had some good food to eat. It was nice being together enjoying each other's company. After we got back to Las Vegas we spent a lot of time with family. Noelle and I celebrated our birthdays together with a family party. I sure did miss my sister, Susie, after she went back home but the fun we had will always be a great memory in my heart. Easter will be here soon and were going to have a family get together. Jacob and Mitchel are playing baseball in Easter Tournaments. Eleven more days and Dodger baseball will be starting. HOORAY!!

WHAT'S UP!!

A week ago, Jeri and I went to beautiful. St. George, Utah to watch Jacob and his club ball team play in a tournament. They did really well. They won 6 out of 6 games. But they lost the championship game. They came in second. They played really well. Jacob hit well and he pitched really well also. Today and yesterday Mitchel tried out for his high school baseball team. He just got word that he made the Junior Varsity team for Shadow Ridge High School. Congratulations Mitchel. I know you will be an asset to your team. I'm also excited because on Monday, March 3rd, my sister is coming from Houston, Texas to spend 9 days with me. We are going to Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland. Just the two of us are going and we're going to be little girls again for three days. I can hardly wait to see her. She will also be here to spend mine and Noelle's birthdays with us.

Tournament in Chino Hills, CA

Over the weekend Stevan, Jacob and myself went to Chino Hills, California. It was baseball all weekend long. Out of fourteen teams in their age group, they finished 4th. Jacob pitched the first half of the first game and he was almost unhitable. He was firing the strikes in over the home plate. They won! YEA! Jacob also hit a three run home run. Besides baseball, we ate a lot of junk and saw a terrible movie. But all in all, it was a great weekend. It was especially nice spending time with Stevan and Jacob. They're a great pair to spend time with. We all love baseball and were looking forward to a lot more tournaments to come.

Christmas Time is Family Time

A very Merry Christmas was had by all. We had a lot of great family time together. Christmas eve we went to the Sewells house for a wonderful Turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Susie and Jeremy did a great job. On Christmas morning Jeri and Teresa came over for breckfast and we exchanged gifts. Christmas evening every one came over for a Christmas buffet and then we opened gifts and played games. We also have celebrated Clancy, Susie, Mitchel and Jeanies birthdays. Now we have to get organized and get back to our regular routine. I'm hoping and praying this will be a happy and HEALTHY year for all.
