A Great Weekend

A wonderful Thanksgiving was had by all. We had a very good Turkey dinner with all the trimings. We were all so stuffed we could hardly move. We shared with each other all the things we are all so thankful for. Susie and Jeremy and the kids then went on a road trip to Salt Lake to visit with family and they had a great time. Jacob and his club ball team played in the Cranberry Classic. They battled their way into the championship game and came out WINNERS. They are the champs. It was a great weekend and now we can all start getting ready for Christmas. I know we all have a lot to do.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING>

A Day At The Park

The weather has been so nice so we thought we would have a picnic at Floyd Lam State Park. We had a wonderful time. We made BBQ hot dogs, chips and we had some fruit and brownies. We played some games and drew some Thanksgiving pictures. Then we had a lot of fun feeding the geese and the ducks. We went through a whole loaf of bread and they were chasing us for more. It was a great day at the park. Good food, good weather, good company and lots of fun.

It's Time To Be Thankful

It's hard to believe it will soon be Thanksgiving Day. Fall is such a beautiful time of the year, first we have fun with all the little monsters of Halloween and now we prepare are selves for Thanksgiving. Clancy and I our preparing our self for Thanksgiving by every morning when we get up we write on a piece of paper something we are thankful for and then we put into a little box setting in the middle of our table. We are going to read these on Thanksgiving Day. It's a good time of year to reflect on the many blessings we have and give thanks for all of them. We have also been watching the Food Network and learning some new recipe's to fix for the special day. I hope all of you will give special thought to all the things your thankful for and have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This

Today I took Jacob to his club ball tournament. It was the bottom of the last inning and the Rebels were down two runs. They had two outs, and it wasn't looking very good until they got a little rally going. They got a base hit and then two walks, so the other team changed the pitcher. Now Jacob comes to bat. With two outs, his team mates start chanting, Raddy, Raddy, (his nickname). Now the parents are chanting too. First pitch, a ball. Second pitch, a hit and there it goes. A HOME RUN!! Jacob's first home run ever, and better yet, it's a WALK OFF GRAND SLAM. He gets mobbed at home plate and the fans go wild. So they win the game, get there medals, and Jacob gets his first WALK OFF GRAND SLAM. It doesn't get any better than
this. Congratulations to JACOB!!!

I'm sure it will be a great time for all. GOOD food, games, prizes, and best of all good, family fun. I can hardly wait.

No Post Season this Year!

Even though the Dodgers did not make it to the post season this year it's ok because they finished 11 games in front of the Giants. YEA!!!
So I guess that is better than nothing. See you next year, and we're going to WIN!

October is Fun!

It will soon be October, one of my favorite months. I love the cooler weather, and Halloween is coming. I always look forward to trunk or treat and especially our family Monster Dinner. We have a lot of fun. The boys and I figure out a menu and then we give every thing a crazy name. Everyone has to come in costume and we play games and eat. Another great thing I love about October is it's post season for baseball. I love all the playoffs. This year my most favorite Dodgers won't be in the post season, but I'll still be watching and cheering.

Nathan

The Princess

I look forward to Tuesday so I can watch Nathan and Noelle. I can't believe Noelle is six months old already and is trying to crawl. She is all smiles the only time she get upset is when she gets hunger pains. She really likes to eat. Nathan is growing so much too. He is at the age I really enjoy. They are so much fun at three. I'm so happy to be the grandma of these two beautiful children.

Vacation

Clancy and I had a great summer. We went fishing twice in Beaver, Utah and caught plenty of fish. We also went to Cheyeene, WY to the rodeo and to Steamboat Spring, CO. We camped out for 15 days in our trailer and had a wonderful time. We went horse back riding and river rafting. It was a great summer but were now ready for the fall and some cool weather.
